Fairhope's community theatre takes on the true story of the factory workers who painted watch dials with radium and then took their employer to court. Friday and Saturday evenings plus a Sunday matinee. Twenty-five dollars, twenty for students.

Back-to-back marquee nights at The Wharf. Bryan brings the Word On The Street Tour with Shane Profitt and Karley Scott Collins. If you only do one big thing this weekend, the amphitheater has you covered two nights running.

Three chances to see it: Saturday at 1 and 7, then Sunday at 1. Doors open an hour before each show. It is exactly as loud as you're picturing, which is the point -- bring ear protection for the little ones and go early for the pit party.

Twenty years of this one. Saturday brings Andy and the Flying Cobra from 11 to 3 and Outlaw Chrome from 4 to 8, with the party picking back up Sunday. It all benefits High Hopes 4 Autism, and a day on the water at Pirate's Cove is a good day regardless.

The Summer Movie Series puts the original shark movie back on a big screen inside a beautiful old theatre, air conditioning included. A properly great way to spend a 94-degree Sunday afternoon.
