What The Lineup Is
The Lineup is a local media and publishing platform serving multiple communities across the United States. We publish editorial articles about restaurants, events, and things to do. We maintain business directories and events calendars. We distribute newsletters.
We are not a booking, reservation, or ticketing service. We provide information about local businesses and events, but any transactions you make with those businesses are between you and them. We are not a party to those transactions and bear no responsibility for them.
Acceptance of Terms
By using our websites, subscribing to our newsletters, submitting an event, claiming a business listing, or otherwise interacting with our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) and agree to these Terms.
User-Submitted Content
Event submissions
When you submit an event through our submission form, you grant The Lineup a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and display the submitted information on our websites, app, newsletters, and social media channels.
We reserve the right to:
- Review all submissions before publication.
- Edit submissions for clarity, accuracy, formatting, or length.
- Reject or remove any submission at our sole discretion, for any reason.
Business listing claims
When you claim a business listing, you represent that you are authorized to act on behalf of that business. We may request verification before processing a claim. We reserve the right to reject claims that we cannot verify.
Your responsibilities
When submitting content to The Lineup, you agree that:
- All information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
- You have the right to share the content you submit (including any images or descriptions).
- Your submission does not violate any third-party rights, including copyright or trademark.
- Your submission does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or harmful content.
Accuracy Disclaimer
We work hard to keep our content accurate and up to date. However, we rely on publicly available information, business-provided details, and community submissions. Things change — business hours shift, prices go up, events get rescheduled or canceled.
We cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information on our sites. Always verify details directly with the business or event organizer before making plans.
Intellectual Property
Our content
All original content on The Lineup — including articles, photographs, graphics, page design, and branding — is the property of The Lineup and is protected by U.S. copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or republish our content without prior written permission.
Sharing links to our content is always welcome and encouraged.
Your content
You retain ownership of any content you submit to us. By submitting content, you grant us the license described in the "User-Submitted Content" section above.

Directory Listings
Our business directories include both editorial listings and featured (paid) listings.
- Editorial listings: Free listings created at our editorial discretion. Inclusion does not imply endorsement. We may add, edit, or remove editorial listings at any time.
- Featured/paid listings: Businesses may purchase enhanced placements, governed by separate advertising agreements and clearly identified.
Listing in our directory does not create any business relationship, partnership, or endorsement between The Lineup and the listed business.
Advertising
The Lineup displays advertising, including ads served through Google AdSense and direct partnerships. Sponsored content and paid placements are labeled as such. Our editorial content is independent of our advertising relationships.

Accounts and Deletion
You may create an account to access additional features such as saving events, following bands, and managing business listings. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
Account termination by you
You may delete your account at any time through the mobile app (More > Delete Account) or by contacting us at [email protected]. When you delete your account:
- Your profile, saved items, preferences, and push notification tokens are permanently deleted.
- Content you submitted (events, business listing claims) may be retained in anonymized form.
- Account deletion is irreversible.
Account termination by us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or abuse of our Services.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to:
- Use our Services for any unlawful purpose.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data using automated tools without our written permission.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt our Services or servers.
- Impersonate another person or entity when submitting content.
- Submit false, misleading, or spam content.
- Use our Services to distribute malware or harmful code.
- Reproduce or republish our content without permission.
Limitation of Liability
