He's got a comedy special ("Live at the Fort"), festival credits at the New York Comedy Festival and Netflix is a Joke, and "Best of the Fest" wins at two separate festivals -- this isn't a guy who's still figuring out his voice. Both shows are 18+, and seats are first come, first served on arrival, so get there early if you're going with a group.

The Front Porch Fridays series is running every Friday evening through October in downtown Ringgold, and this week the Daly Special Trio takes the set. It's a relaxed, acoustic night on Depot Street -- street parking nearby, no wristbands, no lines. Worth pairing with dinner somewhere in the neighborhood before the music starts.

Red Clay State Historic Park hosts the annual Cherokee Cultural Celebration this Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 5 PM both days. It's one of the more meaningful events on the regional calendar -- the park itself was the last seat of Cherokee tribal government before the forced removal, so the setting carries real weight. Bring cash for the gate and plan for a couple of hours minimum.

Magic Lamp Entertainment brings a full character roster to the zoo Saturday -- Ariel, Moana, Jasmine, Anna, Rapunzel, Mermaid Barbie, Captain Jack Sparrow, and Dread Pirate Roberts (yes, from The Princess Bride). Kids 12 and under in themed attire get 50% off admission, and zoo members get in free. There's a treasure hunt, behind-the-scenes animal visits, and keeper talks layered in. Free to walk through; food and vendor purchases are separate. Runs until 1 PM, so no need to rush your Saturday morning.

Blake Worthington String Band headlines at Songbirds with Not Your Brother's Bluegrass Band opening the night. Doors at 6 PM, music at 7 -- good lead time to grab a spot and get settled before the first set.

Chattanooga FC is home Saturday night against Atlanta United 2. Gates open at 6 PM with kickoff at 7. A summer evening at Finley is a reliable good time regardless of the scoreline -- and with a 56% storm chance Saturday, there's some drama in the forecast on top of whatever happens on the pitch.

Tri-State Bass Anglers runs a tournament out of Chester Frost Park on Lake Chickamauga Saturday, with weigh-in activity at 3:00 PM and 7:30 PM. If you fish the competitive circuit or just want to watch what people are pulling out of Chickamauga, it's worth a drive up to Hixson.

The celebration continues Sunday with the same hours -- 10 AM to 5 PM -- and the same $5 cash entry per vehicle. Sunday's forecast is the best of the three days at a 28% rain chance, which makes it the easier call if you're deciding between the two days.
