The Art of Mary Blair

Join Archivist Erin Creel for a presentation on the art of Mary Blair, an American artist known for producing art for the Walt Disney Company and illustrations for Little Golden Books. Mary illustrated books such as Baby’s House, The Golden Book of Little Verses, The New Golden Song Book and The Up and Down Book. Mary joined the Walt Disney Studios in 1940 and went on to be named art supervisor on a couple films, influence several other big name Disney films and help design the “It’s a Small World” attraction and several murals at Disney locations. All attendees earn door prize tickets. No registration required.
